Maclean has been named second team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District. Maclean was named to the second team for the Colege Division in District One.

Junior Jon Garcia (Stoneham, MA/Stoneham HS) of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's track team earned his fourth consecutive All-American honor by finishing fourth in the 110 meter hurdles at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships at The Village of Lisle-Benedictine University Sports Complex Saturday afternoon.

Junior Jon Garcia (Stoneham, MA/Stoneham HS) of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's track and field team broke his school record again as he qualified for the 110 meter hurdle finals at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships at The Village of Lisle-Benedictine University Sports Complex Friday.

UMass Dartmouth Head Diving Coach Jerry Jennings has announced his retirement.
Jennings, who had a long and distinguished career as a swimming and diving coach, will stay on at UMass Dartmouth and retain his other positions as Head Women's Lacrosse Coach and as Director of Intramurals.

For the second consecutive day, the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's softball team won an elimination game at the Little East Conference Tournament.
The Corsairs got a second successive complete game victory from freshman right-hander Amie Nickerson (Wrentham, MA/King Philip HS) as they made three first-inning runs stand up for a 3-1 victory over defending champion Keene State at Rhode Island College's Dayna A. Bazar Memorial Softball Stadium Friday afternoon.

The Corsairs, who have outscored their opponents by 39 goals in the second half this season, scored the final 10 goals of the match and came from behind to defeat Southern Maine, 15-7, in a first-round Little East Conference playoff contest at Cressy Field Tuesday afternoon.

Junior Josh McCoy (Newburyport, MA/Newburyport HS) won the decisive match for the Corsairs, defeating Jay Lee at number four singles, 4-6, 6-1, 7-5. McCoy trailed, 5-3 in the third set and rallied to win the last four games in a row.

Junior Will Mahoney (Mattapoisett, MA/Old Rochester HS) nearly stole the show when the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's baseball team played Eastern Connecticut State in a Little East Conference doubleheader at the UMass Dartmouth Athletic Complex Saturday afternoon.
Mahoney pitched a complete game victory in the opener, and pinch-hit a three-run, game-tying homer in the nightcap. UMass Dartmouth won the first game, 3-2, but the Warriors came back for a 5-3, 11-inning victory in the nightcap to earn a split.
