Fresh Ideas
is a collection of teaching strategies developed by UMass Dartmouth faculty participating in the First-Year Success Program. These strategies are aimed at increasing the academic success of first-year students as they make the transition to college. Fresh Ideas is published annually and is available on-line and as a printed booklet.Resource Center
is a collection of articles, books, DVDs, and videos about university-level teaching and learning housed in the Center offices in Liberal Arts, Suite 373. Members of the UMass Dartmouth community are invited to peruse and borrow the materials in the Resource Center. See Resource Center lists by author or by title for a list of currently available materials. Please contact the Center with suggestions for additional materials.The teaching development collection is housed in the Resource Center in Liberal Arts, Room 370. Books may be checked out with CTE's Administrative Assistant.
Podcasts of Past Programs
Have you missed one of our programs or workshops? Presentations are podcast when speakers give their permission, and made available at the UMassCast site, managed by the CITS Instructional Development team. You can download a podcast and then listen to it at your convenience using a portable media player such as an iPod.
