Chancellor's Public Service Fund and UMass Public Service Endowment Grants
The Chancellor’s Public Service Fund and UMass Public Service Endowment Grants are intended to enhance the University’s public service mission by supporting the delivery of public services through specific community projects.
These projects address important, if not critical, community needs related economic development, crime control and deterrence, substance abuse treatment and reduction, school dropout rate reduction, and environmental protection. Grantees are expected to contribute to national discussions of the public service role of universities and to influence public service activities elsewhere.
