Campus Compact is a national coalition of nearly 1,200 college and university presidents — representing some 6 million students — dedicated to promoting community service, civic engagement, and service-learning in higher education.
Learn and Serve America supports service-learning in schools, higher
education institutions and community organizations across the country
through grants, training and technical assistance, research and program
models, and recognition of outstanding youth service.
Grants:
Learn and Serve America grants are available to
schools and organizations to assist in the planning and implementation
of service-learning programs that engage students in community service.
Training and Technical Assistance:
Learn and Serve America
provides a host of useful resources to assist with making the
service-learning programs or research on service-learning a success.
Research and Program Models:
Learn and Serve America collects
and disseminates research, effective practices, curricula and program
models to help participants develop effective service-learning
projects.
Recognition Programs:
Learn and Serve America recognizes
outstanding youth service and helps raise awareness about
service-learning programs throughout the nation through a number of
